Well, I’ve been a little under the weather lately, so I haven’t been able to attend any car shows or work on the truck. I think it was something I ate. Unfortunately, what I ate was my own cooking!

Anyway, being stuck indoors, I decided to use that time to add a Guestbook feature to the website. So visit my Guestbook page and leave a comment.

Ordered some business cards promoting the website.

I got tired of the ugly “maintenance mode” page that was displayed whenever I took the website offline to make any significant changes, so I created a new page. It includes a color pencil sketch” of the truck. Personally, I like it. Whadya think?

Registered the domain name mylilredtruck.com. I’m hoping that if my Dad’s health stays good enough, we might be able to participate in a few cruise nights and such and document it here.

He has been really down since my Mom passed away in November of 2011, so maybe doing some cruise nights will help cheer him up a little.

Mom and Dad were “snowbirds” for years, and Dad still is, so this will be only over the summer months when we’re back “up north.” Dad had wanted to take the truck down to Florida so he could enjoy it more, but Mom refused to ride 1200+ miles in it. (Can’t really say that I blame her. It would be an uncomfortable trip over that distance.)
